About John Tracy Clinic

John Tracy Clinic provides, worldwide and without charge, parent-centered services to young children with a hearing loss offering families hope, guidance and encouragement.

The Principles That Guide Us

  • To make a multifaceted effort - nationally and internationally - to seek out those whom we can serve.
  • To positively impact the lives of the children, parents and families.
  • To facilitate early identification of hearing loss from birth through five years.
  • To provide early intervention services for preschool children who are deaf and hard-of-hearing.
  • To offer parents support and education.
  • To furnish a spoken language environment for deaf and hard-of-hearing children.
  • To maintain a leadership role in deaf education through professional development and research.

Sustaining the Mission

Mrs. Spencer Tracy initiated our commitment to offer families hope, guidance and encouragement through JTC programs, free of charge. Through her own experience with her deaf son, Mrs. Tracy personally understood how essential early diagnosis and educational intervention are to the future of deaf children everywhere. Today, over 100,000 families from all over the world have benefited from JTC programs during their child's preschool years. To continue this tradition of free services, John Tracy Clinic relies on the compassion and generosity of its donors:

  • Individuals
  • Guilds for John Tracy Clinic
  • Clubs and Organizations
  • Corporations
  • Charitable Foundations
  • Employee Groups

A gift to John Tracy Clinic transforms lives and opens the door of understanding and hope for young deaf children and their families.
