Community Hearing Screening

Free hearing screenings at daycare centers and preschools in the Greater Los Angeles Area are available through John Tracy Clinic.

Children birth through age 5 are screened for possible ear infections and the build up of fluid in the middle ear, which sometimes interfere with a child's ability to learn and communicate. The preschool years are a critical time in the development of spoken language.

Audiometrists go to local preschools and day care centers in Los Angeles, Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties. The Program serves over 16,000 children in 400 schools.

Ask your school administrator to schedule an appointment for a free hearing screening in your child's school.
