For working teachers
Requires current employment as a teacher in an auditory-oral “Center of Excellence” as outlined in the Alexander Graham Bell Association’s “Components of a Quality Auditory-Oral Program”
Two summer residencies of approximately one month each at John Tracy Clinic in Los Angeles
Field supervision by qualified, Auditory-Oral and Auditory-Verbal personnel
Fully accredited Master’s Degree and California Teaching Credential
Extensive experience with children who use cochlear implants
Opportunities in inclusive educational settings
Practicum experiences in: Auditory-Verbal Therapy; parent-infant sessions; preschool Auditory-Oral classrooms; elementary Auditory-Oral classrooms
