Jill Muhs Accepts Vice Presidency
Jill Muhs, M.S.ED, one of John Tracy Clinic’s most highly respected teachers and mentors in early childhood deaf education, has accepted the position of Vice President of Programs. In her new assignment, Muhs will develop and oversee all core programs, including Preschool and Parent/Infant programs, Consultation and Audiology services, Parent Distance Education, and Teacher Education. She will also provide oversight for the Baby Sound Check® screening and training program in community healthcare clinics.
Muhs joined John Tracy Clinic (JTC) as a volunteer out of high school, received her Master’s degree in Education from the University of Southern California as part of the original Teacher Education Program with JTC, and has been a JTC employee for twenty-five years.

Before joining the Executive Team in 2010, she taught in the Preschool and Parent/Infant programs, coordinated the Community Hearing Screening Program, developed and mentored programs for Kapiolani Hospital in Hawaii and N-Courage-Mint in Las Vegas, taught classes for the new University of San Diego/JTC Teacher Education Program, and represented JTC on numerous occasions at professional gatherings and community groups.
