Summer Session Info
The international summer session is a unique learning experience acclaimed by families who have attended from all over the world.
July 7*-26 International English Summer Session M-TH 9–3:00, Friday 9–Noon

The application process is done only online, starts January 8th 2013 and ends when filled. Contact pals@jtc.org to discuss eligibility for the summer program. The code for accessing the summer application form will be provided to interested families starting Jan 8th.
The child with hearing loss must be 2 ½ to 5 years old. The family must use or want to begin implementing a spoken language approach. All sessions are conducted in English and parents should be able to participate using English.
The application is done online. Parents must complete an application form and submit it with their child’s current audiology information. Acceptance is on a first-come first-served basis and sessions fill up months ahead of time.
Once a family is notified of their acceptance, there is ongoing communication to help prepare for coming to Los Angeles for three weeks.
JTC International Summer Session Fees
Space is limited and enrollment is on a first applied, first accepted basis. Each family must pay for their transportation, housing, food, and summer program services. As a non-profit JTC needs to charge fees to assist with covering a small portion of the actual costs incurred. There are no scholarships or financial assistance available from JTC. A suggestion for families desiring financial aid is to look for support from their home communities. Amounts are in United States Dollars (USD) and payments for the Education program and other JTC services can be made by credit card. The housing fees to the university can be made with cash or credit card.

***Education payments minus a 20% administrative fee will be refunded if a family cancels four weeks prior to session start date. For family cancellations made less than four weeks prior to session start date no refunds are available.
