Long Beach Center
The John Tracy Clinic Long Beach Center offers families living in the Long Beach, Orange County, Inland Empire and South Bay area diagnostic testing and educational services for children between birth and five years of age. Families whose children are identified with hearing loss may participate there in weekly parent-infant services and Tuesday Evening Parent Workshops and Support Groups. Long Beach Center families are also invited to join other families at JTC's Los Angeles campus for a weekly center-based program called Friday Family School and a four-day-a-week auditory-verbal Preschool Program. These services are provided at no charge. Services are offered in English and Spanish.

Long Beach Center History
In 1965, Mrs. Tracy, a true visionary and pioneer in the field of deaf education, wanted to make the free services at John Tracy Clinic (JTC) services available to more families who might not otherwise have been able to travel to the Los Angeles campus. JTC joined forces with the Children’s Benefit League in the Long Beach area to establish a satellite facility called the Long Beach Demonstration Home, where parents of young babies with hearing loss could learn how to encourage their child’s speech development in a cozy, homelike setting. A group of dedicated volunteers then came together to form the Long Beach League, a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting the facility and its free educational services. Since then the program has expanded to include evening parent education classes and audiology services.
