Founded in 1942 by Louise Treadwell Tracy, wife of actor Spencer Tracy, John Tracy Clinic is a pioneer in parent-centered, auditory-oral education for infants and preschool children who are deaf or hard of hearing. For over 50 years, the Clinic has prepared graduate-level professionals and has helped to address the chronic nationwide shortage of teachers of the deaf through partnerships in higher education.
