Position Summary
A pediatric/educational audiologist is a unique opportunity at the John Tracy Center to provide educational and clinical services. The audiologist provides comprehensive educational audiological support and services in partnership with local k-12 schools and districts to help students achieve their full potential. Additionally, the audiologist will be a contributing member of the audiology department by providing comprehensive hearing evaluations for children ages 0 to 18 years, with special expertise in testing infants and toddlers. If a hearing loss is identified, appropriate recommendations for educational and medical intervention and/or a hearing aid evaluation are made. The audiologist works with a multi-disciplinary team to explain the implications of the diagnosis and to offer possible continued support through JTC’s Educational Services.
